Ringing In 2014

Happy New Year -- 2014!

The bells were gathered to make a celebratory noise
as a new year commences.

The celebration of New Year has long been associated
with extending good wishes and visiting with friends.
The lovely ladies pictured on these vintage postcards
are dressed in their finest attire to wish you
love, happiness and peace during 2014.

The postcards were published by John Winsch, copyright 1910.

Until next time, live and love well.

I love them both, but like the first card the most. There is a Victorian type group on Google+. If you want to join let me know and I ask the owner to send you an invite as it is a private group. Happy New Year!

Happy Pink Saturday, Debra. I am so glad you joined us today.

The vintage cards are so pretty. I have a few, and I often take them out to enjoy.

Enjoyed the vintage post cards very much. They are more interesting to me than the new ones.

The dolls must be quite wonderful.
